BOOKING CONDITIONS
Our booking conditions explain the terms and conditions that apply to your booking. When you make a booking with us and pay your deposit, you accept our terms and conditions listed below. We reserve the right to refuse bookings. Once you have read the booking conditions send us a message to get your break at Iona cottage started.
Booking conditions
Please read our terms and conditions before booking to ensure you have the best possible experience with us.
Deposit
To secure your booking, a 25% deposit of the full rate should be sent at the time of booking. Upon receipt of the deposit, a confirmation of your booking will be sent to you. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, except in the case that the accommodation must be cancelled by ourselves. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the start of your visit or on collection of keys.
Cleaning
Prior to your visit, we will ensure that your rental property is clean and ready for your arrival. We ask that you leave the property in the same condition as you found it. Cleaning and maintenance of the property is the responsibility of the hirer during their stay. To make things easier for you, we can arrange for a cleaning service during your stay if required. Please note that a minimum charge of £40 will be made if the property is not left as it was found.
Cancellation
We understand that sometimes travel plans change and you may need to cancel your visit. If you need to cancel, please provide notice in writing or via e-mail to us using our contact information. your deposit is non refundable. Cancellations made less than two weeks before arrival will be subject to the full cost of the booking. Every effort will be made to rebook your cancelled nights, if successful, part or all of your balance will be reimbursed to you. We appreciate your understanding.
The owners reserve the right, under circumstances beyond their control, e.g. fire damage or interruption of utility supplies, to cancel a booking and return all payments, including your deposit in full.
Number of occupants
The number of occupants for each visit must not exceed the number of beds provided in the accommodation. This number includes all adults, children, and infants. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in additional charges or cancellation of the reservation.
Breakages
Should any breakages, loss or damage occur, we kindly ask that you inform us of this before departure. Any costs associated with the breakage, loss or damage may have to be paid for, in full, before departure. We appreciate your understanding and respect in this matter and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any of the accommodation. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Arrival and
departure
Arrival time at the cottage is after 2:30pm. We kindly ask our guests to vacate the property by 10:30am on the day of departure.
